Role Overview:
As a Manager in Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of growth consulting services, and the ability to build and nurture client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential clients for growth consulting services.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand client needs and industry trends.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new clients and projects.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client challenges and proposing tailored solutions.
Proposal Development:
- Create compelling proposals and presentations that showcase our consulting capabilities.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
Networking:
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company.
- Actively engage with potential clients and industry influencers.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance our service offerings.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
- Provide feedback from clients to improve service offerings and internal processes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in a growth consulting or advisory services environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
