Manager - Events Execution & Production
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Manager - Events Execution & Production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution and production of events, ensuring seamless coordination, high-quality delivery, and exceptional attendee experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive event plans, considering objectives, target audience, budget, and logistics.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all elements of the event are well-planned and executed efficiently.
- Oversee on-site event management, addressing issues as they arise to ensure a smooth and successful event.
Production Management:
- Manage all aspects of event production, including audiovisual requirements, staging, lighting, and other technical elements.
- Collaborate with production teams to create and implement innovative and engaging event experiences.
- Ensure the technical setup aligns with the event's goals and requirements.
Vendor Management:
- Identify and negotiate with vendors for various event services, including catering, audiovisual equipment, decorations, etc.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring their adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
- Manage vendor contracts, payments, and performance evaluations.
Budget Oversight:
- Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting variances and proposing adjustments as needed.
Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of event professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging the team to deliver high-quality results.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement professional development plans for team members.
Logistics and Operations:
- Coordinate logistics for events, including transportation, accommodation, and venue setup.
- Develop contingency plans for unforeseen circumstances and emergencies.
Post-Event Analysis:
- Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze the success of events and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations for future events based on lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience (Around 4 to 5 Years) in event planning, execution, and production.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Budget management experience.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
